Woven in North West Iran these are thought to be some of the most durable rugs in production due to the high copper content in the soil. This makes the wool tough, full of lustre and signs the more it is used.
Here we see an unusual size as they are usually room sized carpets but this is a scatter rug size, in a simple palatte of soft pale pink, ivory and brown tones. Geometric in design and thick in weave this rug will last decades.
