Stamford Office Studio
Based in Stamford, home to the Landrover Defender Burghley Horse Trials. The Stamford studio is the working hub where Rachel can be found when not in the centres. Here there is a large permanent collection of antique rugs andlatest designs, colour trends and textures. A change of stock, filled with samples of latest materials, colour tufts and designs and the element the business has been founded on, the restoration pieces.
The specialist antique stock is within the studio and more commercial is based in the centres as with challenging times for retail, access and availability are key.
Rachel owns a variety of Antique and Contemporary Rugs, Carpets, Kilims and Textiles antique and new, shabby chic and restored and has access to thousands more.
Rachel specialises in hand knotted and hand woven. Oriental, Traditional and Contemporary rugs, including Rex Ray designs.
The Rug Studio has something for everyone, visit Rachel in one of the centres on her duty days or make an appointment for the studio or in your home.

Our Stamford studio is located on the door step of Burghley House, famous for The Burghley Horse Trials. We are also a short journey away from Rutland and the market town of Oakham. our original shop in Uppingham relocated to Stamford in 2017. We can be found at many antique centres but please note we are no longer in Hemswell.

Uppingham Antique Centre
Having had a shop based in this traditional old style town with its quaint array of shops, art galleries including Goldmarks Gallery and numerous good quality cafes. Rachel was based on the market square in Uppingham prior to moving to Stamford for over 6 years and relocated due to family circumstances over 6 years ago. Rachel has returned to the town in the main antique centre on the High Street with a snippet of her collection of antique rugs, silk rugs, rare antique textiles, cushions and mounted fragments
