Persian Heriz Circa mid 1900s 200cm x 132cm

A lovely small example of a classic Heriz.  These carpets and rugs are forever popular within the English home as their colour palate and intricacy of design lift most spaces.  The deep indigo main border is full of life bursting with flowers and blossom.  The aqua corner spandrels flank the terracotta medallion with its deep indigo centre lovely as they are lifted by the wide ivory outlines.  A great balance and full colour palate.
