This rug is what is termed hand loomed as opposed to hand knotted which is a slightly different affect.
Lori essentially is a western persian village region here loribaft takes the simplicity of their rugs to a a greater lever simpler than ever. Woven in India this rug is a rectangle based inside another with rows of simple diamond small motifs in single, quadruple rows giving the rug movement. The rug is predominantly plain with some small red and mid brown detailing in diamonds or stylised flower shapes, a good all over simple design rug. Mainly a golden base colour.
