Persian Malayer

Antique Persian Malayer, 137cm x 110cm a lovely example of a village rug with a rich deep indigo field filled with stylised plants.  The ivory corner spandrels are filled with stylised birds, fauna dnd evil eye motifs.  the age is denoted by the hot tomato red used alot in the early 20th century.  The sides and ends could do with minor restoration which is considered in the current price.
