A charming rug that looks to be repeated botehs throughout alternating in direction but on closer inspection no one line is the same with the scale of the ones bursting out the field constantly changing and the colour variant moving from the green tips to the gold at the top end.
The borders mirror each side and keep a flow and movement with the constant change in blossom, stylized motifs in the main ivory border and stylized flowers and plants in the outer guard. A simple and humble piece lifted by the madder red field and ivory main border. Great value!
